Weight Category Knock-Down Kid, Youngsters, Youth , Junior and U-20 (Recruitment) All Kyokushin Karate European Championship

Organizer: Oyama Dojo Sports Club – Szentes Ady E. Str.27, Hungary-6600 (member of the Hungarian Traditional Kyokushin Karate Organization.

The aim of the tournament: To call together the Kyokushin karate styles independently of the world organizations, to evoke the friendship, the togetherness, the brotherhood and to choose the best kid, yougster, youth, junior and U-20 (recruitment) fighters of Europe.

 Terms of competing:

• Kid and youngster: from 10-9 kyu
• Youth: from 8 kyu
• Junior: from 6 kyu
• U-20 (recruitment): from 5 kyu

who are official members one of the invited organizations and would be entered before the deadline. Furthermore they have to show the official permission from their sports physician and the approval declaration signatured by parents in original at the arrival and they have to pay the entry fee and good results of the medical examination on the scene.

Kid III.: (2003-2004)

• -Boys: -25 kg, -30 kg, -35 kg, +35 kg
• -Girls: -20 kg, -25 kg, -30 kg, +30 kg

Kid II.: (2001-2002)

• -Boys: -30 kg, -35 kg, -40 kg, +40 kg
• -Girls: -25 kg, -30 kg, -35 kg, +35 kg

Kid I. : (1999-2000)

• -Boys: -40 kg, -45 kg, -50 kg, +50 kg
• -Girls: -35 kg, -40 kg, -45 kg, +45 kg

Youngsters: (1997-1998)

• -Boys: -40 kg, -45 kg, -55 kg, -65 kg, +65 kg
• -Girls: -45 kg, -55 kg, +55 kg

Youth male (1995-1996) : -60 kg, – 70 kg, – 80 kg, + 80 kg

Youth female (1995-1996): – 50 kg, -60 kg, + 60 kg

Junior male (1993-1994) : -65 kg, -75 kg, -85 kg, +85 kg, and who was born in 1992 but not be 19 years old, and studying in secondary school

Junior female (birth age 1993-1994): – 55 kg, -65 kg, + 65 kg, and who was born in 1992 but not be 19 years old, and studying in secondary school

U- 20 (recruitment): adult who has turned 19 and 20

Rules:

By the syllabus of MTKKSZ (kid, youngsters, youth, and junior knock-down kyokushin karate fight with protectors)

U-20 (recruitment): by the syllabus of MTKKSZ (adult knock-down kyokushin karate fight).

 

Deadline of entry: 10 th of April 2011

Travelling: Individually by own costs

Entry to the sporthall:

2 free entry tickets for each participant country (+1 representative and 1 coach can go to the program free (4 free tickets by clubs)).

Entry tickets: adult 3.000 Ft, between 8-18 years 1.500 Ft, under 8 years free

Hotel Costs:

The organizer pay the hotel costs and meals for all competitor, for previously stated number of judges, one CR or one BC and for one coach from each country. For spectators and followers these services are not free, but the organizer can supply accommodation and meal for 15-16.th of April. Sayonara party is free for all competitors, all judges, one CR, one BC and one coach. Followers also have possibilities to go to the party, it costs 50 USD/ capita.

Entry fee: 50 USD/person, which should be paid in cash at the registration on 15-16th of April on the scene.

Protectors:

Kids, youngsters categories:

• -Male fighters: suspensor (compulsory), head protector (compulsory), shin protector (compulsory),gloves (sacking gloves ), (tooth defender permissive)
• -Female fighters: breast protector with basket which don’t cover the solar plexus (compulsory), head protector (compulsory), shin protector (compulsory), sacking gloves, (suspensor and tooth defender permissive).

Youth, Junior categories:

• -Male fighters:shin-bone protector,(compulsory) inguinal protector (compulsory), head protector (compulsory), (tooth defender permissive)
• -Female fighters: shin-bone protector (compulsory), breast protector (compulsary), head protector (compulsory), (suspensor and tooth defender permissive).

U-20 category (recruitment):

• -Male fighters: suspensor (compulsory), (tooth defender permissive), there are no more protector equipments
• -Female fighters: breast protector (compulsory), (suspensor and tooth defender permissive), there are no more protector equipments

In case of injury bandage permissive with the stamp of our doctor (doctor of the tournament)

 

The awards: The first, second and two third places winner receive trophy, medal, certificate and other offering by the sponsors.

• 06:30-08:00 breakfast
  For Hungarian competitors arriving in the morning medical check, and registration in Dr. Papp László Sporthall.
• 09:00-10:00 judge meeting, drawing
• 10:00-10:10 opening ceremony
• 10:10-10:30 explanation of rules
• 10:30 kumite qualifying matches until the best four
• 17:00 demonstrations
• 17:30 kumite quarter finals and finals
• 20:00 publication of the results, taking photographs and closing of the tournament
• 22:00 Sayonara party
